Christine Denis in action
This week, I had the opportunity to shadow Christine Denis, newborn photographer from Chelsea, Quebec. Christine started her new business almost a year ago and I love the pictures she takes. So, I thought it would be a good idea to try a new domain that I never experienced before and benefit from Christine’s experience. Newborn photography was all new to me! I spent 5 hours with Christine discussing her work, looking at her set up, watching her at work with babies…. and believe me she knows what she’s doing. She has a special connection with babies and their parents. Comfort and safety of the babies are her priority to make sure the photo session goes smoothly. She is able to capture the essence of the child in front of her and God knows how she does it, but the eyes of the babies on her pictures are so sharp…. Newborn photography is a lot of work. You need to be patient and be prepared for anything . Mother nature calls on babies can’t be predicted!
